The Isle of Slate is a Metastate designed to mimic the look of natural slate/shale deposits. With slanted rooftops, curved shingles on the front of the Estate, and texture on the exterior walls, the elements of this build come together to make it look more organic- Furnishings include small windows that flow with the texture of the build-so as to not distract from the main concept of the design- a pool, bushes, trees, and a vine-covered wall on the west end of the build. I came up with this idea from studying modern architecture, in tandem with geology- melding together two fields of work, one can see the natural design in this concept.
